About the music.
Peter Cat Recording Co. emerged from New Delhi with a sound that brings together crooning, dance rhythms and psychedelic textures. Their recordings move across styles without losing the sense of a band playing together, making the catalogue a useful starting point for listeners curious about genre-crossing Indian music.
Bismillah, released in 2019, and BETA, released in 2024, offer two substantial entry points. The band's own Bandcamp pages provide complete track lists, recording credits and ways to listen to or purchase the music directly.
